Hi, I am Annette,

I was adopted in 1953.

You, like myself, may think you were adopted because your birth parents did not want you. This is not always the case, and many birth parents are also looking for their children, who may have been given up against parental wishes.

Whatever the reason, we are where we are today. Birth parents and adoptees alike. Looking for our past.

We all have this longing to know our roots. What are our parents like? Do I have any Brothers or Sisters? Birth parents wondering what their children look like, are they married, did they have children?

I was lucky. Last year a sister of mine, a sister I had no idea I had, contacted me. She had been raised in Canada.

We had never been connected together by the agencies because, although we have the same Father, we have different Fathers on our birth certificates.

So as you will see with this register, it has the father's name on the birth certificate, and also natural father, if different. It also runs in alphabetical order from each of these names. Hopefully this will make it easy to follow.

I will act as intermediary, and to help you in any way that I can.

If you have any questions, or would like to know how to be a part of this register, please contact me.

Annette.
